PokerPerf app · Last updated: 24 September 2026

This English version is a courtesy translation. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails and is the sole legally binding text.

This policy describes the data processed by the PokerPerf mobile app (poker training), why it is processed, where it is stored, and the rights you have. It is written to reflect the actual behaviour of the app.

The data controller is Rémy Ferrand, sole trader (the "we"). For any question about your data: contact@pokerperf.com.

The essentials

1. The account

The app works with an account, needed to save your progression and manage the subscription. When creating the account, we process:

Email verification: after signup we send a 6-digit code to your address to confirm it belongs to you. This code is sent via our email provider (see §7) and is stored on the server only in encrypted, temporary form.

2. Data we process, why, and where it goes

The "Where" column indicates whether the data stays On your phone or is sent To our servers (both can apply: some data is created offline on the device then synced).

Legal basis (GDPR): account, play, preferences and subscription data are processed for performance of the service you request (contract). Anonymous audience measurement relies on our legitimate interest in improving the app (see §6).

3. What stays only on your phone

To work offline and avoid making you log in repeatedly, the app stores locally, in the system's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) and in a local database:

These local data disappear when you log out, delete your account, or uninstall the app.

4. Payments and subscriptions

The premium subscription is managed by the app stores: App Store (Apple) and Google Play, via the RevenueCat service. Specifically:

5. Notifications

If you allow them, the app schedules local notifications (for example a trial-ending reminder). They are generated directly on your phone: we do not use server push notifications and no "notification token" is sent to our servers.

6. Audience measurement

We use PostHog (hosted in the European Union) to anonymously measure app usage (app opens, home progression, exercises completed, subscription steps). These statistics:

As this is audience measurement strictly necessary to improve the service and devoid of any identifying data, it does not require your prior consent; this notice serves that purpose.

7. Third-party services (sub-processors)

To deliver the service, we rely on the following providers, which process data on our behalf:

ProviderRoleData concerned
Clever Cloud (EU, France) Server and database hosting All account and play data
Brevo (EU, France) Sending emails (verification codes) Email address
RevenueCat Subscription management Internal account identifier, purchase status
Apple  /  Google App distribution and payment Payment processing (by them)
PostHog (EU) Anonymous audience measurement Anonymous usage statistics

Our hosting and audience measurement are located in the European Union. Apple and Google may, as part of payment processing and distribution, process certain data according to their own privacy policies.

8. Retention period

9. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data.

Delete your account and your data

You can delete your account yourself from within the app: Settings → Delete account. This action erases your local data on the phone and triggers the permanent erasure of your data on our servers.

To exercise your other rights or for any question, write to us at contact@pokerperf.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

10. Minors

PokerPerf is a poker training app reserved for adults (18 years and older). It is not aimed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data about them.

11. The pokerperf.com website

On the pokerperf.com website, if you enter your email address in the "get notified at launch" form, it is processed for the sole purpose of sending you a notification when the app launches. The form is handled by the Formspree provider, which receives and forwards your request to us. You may at any time request the removal of your address by writing to contact@pokerperf.com.

The website is hosted by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.), which may log technical connection data (such as your IP address) in its server logs, in accordance with its own policy.

12. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or to regulations. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page; significant changes will be flagged to you inside the app.
